  • How do I contact Playful Houseplant Shop?
    You can use our chat feature for a quick response, write to us at Support@playfulhouseplantshop.com , or use our email contact form and we will get back to you within 24 - 48 hours hours.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    Once an order is placed there is a small window of time wherein it can be cancelled. Please email us immediately at Support@playfulhouseplantshop.com and we will try to cancel the order for you.
  • I have received some of my order, but not all of it
    We ship from multiple warehouses in the United States, some items may be shipped separately and may take longer to arrive depending on availability. Your order may be shipped in multiple boxes so they might not always arrive together on the same day. Please be patient, but if you are concerned refer to your tracking number to track your item. If this is not successful, please contact us via our Contact Us page or at Support@playfulhouseplantshop.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
  • How long will by order take to arrive?
    Orders are processed within one to two days after they are placed. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, and all orders include a tracking number. Allow approximately 3-5 business days for your order to arrive within the United States. We strive to get you your items as quickly as possible. To ensure this, we ship from multiple warehouses located across the United States. Depending on availability of the item, some may be shipped separately and may take slightly longer to arrive. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to provide us with the correct delivery details and failure to do so may arise in your product not being delivered. If you have entered an incorrect address please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact Us page or via Support@playfulhouseplantshop.com
  • Where are you located?
    Playful Houseplant LLC is located in Humboldt County, California
  • Is it safe to give my credit card details to this shop?
    To keep you safe, all personal information you submit to Playful Houseplant in the checkout process is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protection. We do not store credit card information on our servers. If you choose to save your credit card information in your account it is stored in our secure bank merchant.
  • How long will it take to receive my plants?
    All orders are shipped the following week after they are placed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Shipping time will vary depending on your location but should take 3 to 5 business days.
  • Are there limitations to coupon codes?
    Only one coupon code can be used per transaction. Gift cards are excluded from discounts. Sales tax, shipping and handling are also excluded from all discounts.
  • Where is Playful Houseplant Shop Located?
    We are located in Humboldt County, California and ship our items throughout the United States. We are not open to the public and don't have a retail store. Ordering is only available online.
  • Do you have a specific item in stock?
    All of the items we have available are listed online.
  • Do you collect state taxes?
    We are required to collect taxes based off the 2018 Supreme Court of the US ruling that states can require online sellers to collect sales tax based on the volume or value of transactions into a state, also known as economic nexus.
  • Can I add to my order?
    We cannot add an item to your existing order. We can provide a refund and you can resubmit the order with all items included if you would like.
  • Do you ship outside the U.S.A?
    At this time, we are not able to ship outside the US.
  • Do you combine orders?
    When possible, orders will be combined when purchased together. Our shipping is set up to adjust for the proper rates.
  • Will my plant look like the pictures on this site?
    All pictures on this site show mature specimens. Your plant will vary depending on the size purchased.
  • What is your return policy?
    If you are unhappy with your purchase, we are happy to provide a refund within 30 days. Please note that shipping costs are not refundable.
  • Do you include heat packs for cold weather?
    We will only provide heat packs on orders that include the purchase as an addition add on. Please don't add one if the temperature will be above 31 degrees, it could damage your plant. If the temperature will be between 21-31 degrees, please add a heat pack. Please don't purchase if the temperature will be below 21 degrees!
